Phil Parkinson rung the changes for the JPT trip to Hartlepool tonight but stuck with the 4-3-1-2 formation that finished so strongly at Dagenham.
Alan Connell was one of five changes from the weekend as Parkinson kept within the competition rules of retaining six from the starting line-up.
Connell, so instrumental in the second-half, was given the same role behind the front two. Garry Thompson replaced Nahki Wells as James Hanson's foil up front.
Both full backs were changed with Carl McHugh making his second appearance to give James Meredith a rest - the first game he hasn't started.
Stephen Darby came in on the right with Rory McArdle moving across to replace Luke Oliver, who jarred his hip in the Dagenham defeat.
And in central midfield there was a welcome return for Ritchie Jones against his former club. It was his first involvement of the season after being sidelined by hamstring and ankle injuries.
