Colwyn Bay old boy available for Guiseley replay
9:44pm Monday 8th October 2012 in Sport By Ian Whiting
Guiseley face a tough FA Cup third qualifying round replay tomorrow night when they host Colwyn Bay after the Blue Square Bet North Division rivals played out a 1-1 draw in Wales on Saturday.
The Lions could field a Bay old boy for their third meeting of the season with the Welsh side.
Lions spokesman Stuart Allen said: “There are no new injury concerns but Kevin Holsgrove, the lad we got from Colwyn Bay, will be available.
“He has been serving a suspension since we signed him but that is done now.”
Both clubs will be eager to progress following today’s fourth round draw as the winners now know they will have home advantage against an Evo-Stik Premier Division outfit.
Buxton take on Hednesford Town on Wednesday in another replay, with the Derbyshire side having wrestled home advantage for their second bite, in the knowledge that the successful side will have to travel to Nethermoor or Wales.
Two of the area’s other semi-pro clubs are in league action tomorrow night, with Farsley making the short trip to Wakefield in the Evo-Stik Division One North and Liversedge hosting Glasshoughton Welfare in the Baris Northern Counties East Premier Division.
