Cup respite for struggling Bradford Sunday Alliance League duo

The West Riding County FA Sunday Cup takes centre stage this weekend and ties include a selection of all-Bradford Sunday Alliance League match-ups.

One that should certainly be worth watching is at Queensbury, where the hosts get the chance to take a break from their early Premier Division struggles.

They face Division One opposition in the form of Ventus Sports, who are finding life at the lower level as tough as in the top-flight last season.

Premier outfit Mill Lane tackle Division 1A visitors Dog & Gun in another all-Alliance contest.

Great Northern of Division 1B entertain Thornhill Lees from Dewsbury, who are previous winners of the competition.

Tyersal also host an attractive tie as Castleford League side Fryston visit Arkwright Street.

There are also plenty of league fixtures but only one in the Premier Division, although it could be a key one as Bolton Woods welcome fellow early-season high-fliers West Bowling.

These two sides embark on the FA Sunday Cup national trail next weekend.
