Joe Jagger hit a hat-trick for West Bowling inside the hour mark to put West Bowling in a comfortable position against promoted Sandy Lane in the Bradford Sunday Alliance League Premier Division.

The hosts equalised from the penalty spot but Jagger addded two more before Mark Price and Jack Marsden, on his return from America, made it 5-1

Buttershaw White Star defeated league leaders Thornton United 5-0 to regain top spot at Manningham Mills.

John Selby opened the scoring mid-way through the first half, with Mark Bett also hitting the post.

Selby increased the lead with a free header from a corner early in the second period.

White Star then overpowered Thornton for the rest of the game, which saw Bett, Graeme Sides and sub Chris Graham score, the latter with a stunning 25-yard shot.

Stanningley Albion moved to the summit of the First Division with a 4-2 victory over Oakenshaw, while  George Hotel climbed to fourth with a 4-1 win over second-placed Victoria Rangers, goals coming from Warren Inglis, Jamie Hepworth and two from  Dale Wright.

Kane Ramsden gave Buttershaw Celtic an early lead against Tyersal, who hit back with four goals of their own to clinch victory.

Liam Kinch and Jimmy Townsend both scored for Ventus Sports against Peel Park but the visitors hit six in reply.

In Division 1A, Bradford Phoenix scored six goals against Shoulder of Mutton, with Ryan Hudson hitting a hat-trick to go with strikes from Leighton Warrington (2) and Simon Attrill.

White Hart moved into pole position in Division 1B with a 5-0 win over Wrose Albion to remain undefeated this season and Wrose Bull moved off the bottom with a 4-2 win over Great Northern.

In Division 2A, Jordan Sargent scored a well-taken goal for Heaton Kings Arms but it was not enough for victory as Bradford Moor replied with two goals of their own.

Robin Hood Wyke beat Bankfoot Lions 5-1 to maintain their promotion form while, in Division 2B, Grass Greener and Buttershaw Rangers shared the points in a six-goal thriller.

The hosts’ scorers were James Fairbairn, Chris Campbell (penalty) and Adam Boocock.

In Division 3B, Grass Greener United A and Woodman Rovers both secured their first points of the season following a 1-1 draw.
