Jon Worthington wants to pass on his soccer knowledge to young players
Former City players Jon Worthington and Paul Bolland have launched their own academy for the Bradford and Calderdale area.
The BW Pro Soccer Academy is open to boys and girls aged seven to 11. The first courses take place in half-term at Queensbury High School from October 24 to 26 and 29 to 31 (10am-3pm).
The BW Development Academy will launch on November 9 with training sessions every Friday.
Worthington said: “It has long been a dream of mine to set up a football training academy in my local area. I live in Bradford and began training at a young age at Gomersal Boys.
“I have been lucky enough to achieve a career as a professional footballer and I want to pass on my knowledge to children. We can offer advice from two footballers who really know the game.”
