Key Bradford Bulls trio agree Odsal return

Lee St Hilaire will become right-hand man to new Bulls coach Francis Cummins Lee St Hilaire will become right-hand man to new Bulls coach Francis Cummins

Lee St Hilaire, Paul Medley and Stuart Duffy have agreed to return to the Bulls on a paid basis as the club begins to take shape under new owners Omar Khan and Gerry Sutcliffe.

The key trio were made redundant by administrator Brendan Guilfoyle in July but subsequently returned to work on a voluntary basis for the rest of the season.

Their loyalty has now been rewarded, with St Hilaire having agreed a deal to take his old job as assistant coach and become right-hand man to new boss Francis Cummins.

Medley will resume his position as head of youth and long-serving football and media manager Duffy has also accepted an offer to take up his old job.

I was hoping Franny would bring in a good defence coach.Glad Medders is on board though as the youth setup will be vital in the next few years. This still leaves only franny and LSH so maybe another will appear soon.

Welcome back. I'm sure Franny, will have an idea who he wants alongside, himself and LSH. But the most important thing at the mo' is getting those out of contract players back on board. Then see to other areas.

I agree and hopefully LSH will be relieved of defensive duties and someone else will be brought in. I understand Franny wants his own team around him, but our defence, even this year when we have made considerable improvement, has at times been abysmal. But Medders and Stuart Duffys return are to be welcomed.

it's good to see loyalty rewarded. Won't expect miracles next season but if we bulls fans get behind the team i believe that we can create that special atmosphere to drive the team and club forward. COYB, get your hands in your pockets and support this great club.

Its good to have the defensive coach back . 120 points conceded in last 2 games is quite good for us .

Didn't Mick Potter say defence was his responsibility earlier in the year?? But as far as the last two games go they switched off at times and that is not the Coachs fault.

Bullybullman you say "Lee is not a defense coach he is an assistant coach we never have had a defense coach."
Looking at our points conceded I think you are right.
Seriously I always understood LSH`s remit was the defensive coach, if you are right I apologise to LSH, but it is obvious we need one.

I have to believe this is to do with money. You have to to take loyalty so far before realism dawns. LSH was McNamara's right-hand man. Thank you but enough said.

Disappointed if I'm honest. Duffy was part of the Peter Hood blaggers cartel, and I feel we need another big hitting stronger head in there than LSH. I think it says the budget is slender.
