  • "3 in-form strikers ahead of him, not surprised. I actually think this is the longest we've gone in quite a few years without suffering any serious injuries (touchwood).

RH would never come in and make an instant impact, probably would take a few games to get going but he's never really had it.

Wouldn't surprise me if we go for another striker in January if we're still around the top 7 - failure to strengthen the squad cost us in SMC's second season when we totally collapsed around Feb-April. Hannah would be well out of the question in that case."

Bradford City striker Ross Hannah joins Grimsby

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Ross Hannah has slipped down the City pecking order Ross Hannah has slipped down the City pecking order

Ross Hannah today left City for Grimsby on a three-month loan.

The striker has not featured at all this season after finding himself down the pecking order for Phil Parkinson's men.

Parkinson said: "We've got a lot of games coming up but I just felt the time was ready for Ross to go and play. He was growing frustrated and he wanted to go."

But the Bantams have a 24-hour recall clause after 28 days in case they need to bring Hannah back early.
