Alan Connell's superb equaliser at Accrington earned him his first league start since the opening day of the season.

Connell came in for Will Atkinson with Phil Parkinson reverting to 4-4-2 for City's home clash with bottom club Barnet.

The other change from last week's 1-1 draw saw Rory McArdle return at right back in place of Stephen Darby.

Ricky Ravenhill made his first appearance of the campaign on the bench after coming through the reserve game at Port Vale on Wednesday. Nahki Wells was also among the subs.
