Sedbergh ABC kick off the new season with a team match in Morecambe on Friday night.
The Odsal -based club are taking part in eight bouts against hosts Skerton. Danny Manley (71kg) and Saifel Hussain(75kg) will use theirs as a warm-up for the National Novice Championships next month.
Seventeen-year-old Liam Hague, who is gaining a reputation as a knock-out merchant, aims to dish out more of the same when he faces a former England schoolboy champion – and cousin of professional heavyweight Tyson Fury – at 71kg.
