Salem Athletic promoted again in Bradford Mutual Sunday School League

Salem Athletic, who won Group C last season, are the new champions of Bradford Mutual Sunday School League Group B.
They defeated BPR by one wicket to clinch the title yesterday, Shahid Iqbal taking 6-18 in four overs to help dismiss them for 120.
However, Majid Ali took 5-16 and nearly prevented Salem passing the score with nine wickets down.
Bradford Gymkhana clinched promotion and relegated Mayfield with their 45-run win at Mayfield Terrace. Gymkhana made 167 and Mayfield were all out for 122.
Mayfield are joined in Group C next season by VVS Laxman, despite the latter's seven-wicket win over Interlink.
Interlink scored 234-6, with Younis Bismillah scoring 80 not out and Ebrahim Bismillah 57.
In reply, Mahesh Patel made 77 and Muesh Patel 50 to see Laxmans home, but their win was in vain as Odsal batted out a losing draw against Heaton to secure their safety.
Heaton amassed the highest score of the day - 288-9 in which Jameed Ahmed made 55, Usman Khalid 51 and Mohammed Ishfaq 57.
Odsal held out at 101-9, with Matthew Connell scoring 51 and Jameed Ahmed taking 5-15.
Finally, Girlington defeated Yorkshire LPS by four wickets.
In Group C, Bowling Baptist came out on top in the battle of the top two, winning by three wickets to clinc the title from Cross Roads & Daisy Hill.
Daisy made 111-6 in their 40 overs, with Bryan Greenwood carrying his bat for 31. After a few early losses, Baptists steadied the ship as Akhtar Mahmood scored 45 and won with seven overs left.
Mandhata finished third after they defeated Bradford Indians by 73 runs, leaving Indians all but relegated.
Pritesh Patel made 44 not out in Mandhata's 164, in which Vinney Chauhan took 5-44 but 5-14 from Naresh Patel helped dismiss Indians for 91.
Muff Field have been relegated, despite defeating West Bowling by two wickets.
Chris Carter scored 50 and featured in an opening stand of 78 with Joe A'Hearne as West Bowling made 155-6, Frank Powell taking 5-41.
But a dramatic 82-run unbeaten partnership for Muff Field's ninth wicket between Mohammed Bismillah (53no) and Paul Leach saw Muff home with two wickets to spare.
The battle of the two Great Hortons - Meths and Church - ended in a draw.#
Meths made 177-9, with Anthony Moss and John Bond both making 44, Javaid Akbar taking 6-71.
Church then held out for a draw at 133-7, with Abrar Hussain making 44.
In Group A, the title has been settled but the relegation battle was sorted out, Allerton finishing bottom with their seven-wicket defeat by Omars.
Great Horton Church got out of jail with a 93-run win over BPR.
Church made 252 all out, with Umat Masood scoring 59. BPR were then dismissed for 159 as Mohammed Bilal took 5-45.
This meant that Hallfield had to win to stay up but they lost to Bradford Gymkhana by 60 runs.
Mohammed Awais made 47 in Gymkhana's 139-9, Faisal Usman taking 6-33, but Hallfield were dismissd for 79 as Shezad Khalid took 4-29.
Champions Girlington bowed out with a loss to Heaton at the Karmand Centre.
Riasat Ali did the damage with 4-27 and 51 runs for Heaton. Girlington made 200, in which Ahsan Ali scored 77.
In reply, Heaton passed the score for the loss of eight wickets, Waqas making 48 and sharing a partnership of 100 with Riasat Ali.
The match between Cambing and Salem ended in a tie at 85 runs each. For Cambing Fazal Wazir scored 58 and Mohammed Zaba Khan took 6-10.
In Group D, champions Cambing finished off with a win over YMCA, with Shaheeb Afzal scoring 43 in their 130-7 and then dismissing Central YMCA for 78.
Runners-up Hallfield also ended up winning, scoring 163-7 against Muff Field, who replied with 128. For Hallfield, Irfan Abbas scored 61 and Harris Khokhar took 5-58.
Finally, Yorkshire LPS defeated Mayfield by four wickets after Viral Patel took 6-10 as Mayfield were all out for 79, LPS then socring 81-6.
