Olympic road race silver medallist Lizzie Armitstead from Otley has been named in Great Britain’s 12-woman squad for the Road World Cycling Championships in Limburg, Holland from September 15-23.

Only seven of the squad, which also includes double Olympic track champion Laura Trott and her sister Emma, will start.
