Huddersfield 12, Bulls 34

Mick Potter was left delighted after the Bulls destroyed Huddersfield to give their play-off hopes another massive boost this afternoon.

After falling behind to an early try from former Bradford academy player Joe Wardle, Potter’s men seized control.

Shaun Ainscough collected a fine pass from Karl Pryce to plunge over in the right corner and replacement hooker Matt Diskin showed impressive strength to cross for a second try.

Luke Gale, who enjoyed another superb game, claimed a third on the stroke of half-time to put the Bulls 18-6 up at the break.

Brett Kearney then bagged his 15th try of the season shortly before the hour mark to put the game beyond Huddersfield’s reach.

Pryce, who enjoyed a solid game in the centres as deputy for the injured Michael Platt, then sauntered over the line for a fifth Bradford try.

Leroy Cudjoe grabbed a late consolation for the Giants but the Bulls scored a brilliant sixth try late on when Elliott Whitehead's audacious pass sent Pryce over for his second.
