  • "As a new contributor it saddens me to see the position we've reached at the club I've supported since the early 60's. I do know that the most successful period in that 50 years was under the stewardship of among others Noble and Caisley. I didn't agree with all the decisions they made (Iestyn was the obvious one) but all in all the trophy cupboard, the rugby played and the individuals who were signed to make up those teams were in no small part due to their efforts. So rather than this constant attack on one of them, let's wait a couple of days and see if we can continue without administration. Whatever happens the next regime needs to involve fans with either a full or partial adoption of the Supporters Trust system."

Bradford Bulls players and staff updated over bid to avoid administration

Bulls players and staff were today assured that the club are working hard behind the scenes to attract the investment required to stave off the threat of administration.

The board of directors say they have meetings lined up early next week with third parties involved in the rescue mission as they bid to raise the remaining monies.

An e-mail is being circulated today to players and staff as the club bid to beat Tuesday's deadline to avoid being wound up.
