Fans group Friends of Bradford City are seeking divine intervention for a promotion push.

The 14th Dalai Lama, Tensin Gyatso, has been appointed honorary president of the Friends and was given a personalised Bantams shirt in his favourite claret and amber colours!

I suppose this is 'one up' on all those cartoons with Bart/Homer Simpson or Harry Potter wearing City's colours!!!

Wonder if City will be taking the 'Middle Way' or 'Eightfold Path'....to promotion!!

Totally depends on what form of buddhism you follow. there are many interpretations. there is a famous saying that goes " if you see the buddha kill the buddha". This applies to those who worship buddha as a god, which sidartha said he wasn't. Just a man who had found the way to happiness and control of his life.
