Fans group Friends of Bradford City are seeking divine intervention for a promotion push.

The 14th Dalai Lama, Tensin Gyatso, has been appointed honorary president of the Friends and was given a personalised Bantams shirt in his favourite claret and amber colours!

I suppose this is 'one up' on all those cartoons with Bart/Homer Simpson or Harry Potter wearing City's colours!!!

Wonder if City will be taking the 'Middle Way' or 'Eightfold Path'....to promotion!!

yep, but I think we can now rule out any Chinese's investment lol.

ps. I think some of the posters on here would have a much more enjoyable time supporting City if they took on board a little of the Buddhist philosophy :).

Totally depends on what form of buddhism you follow. there are many interpretations. there is a famous saying that goes " if you see the buddha kill the buddha". This applies to those who worship buddha as a god, which sidartha said he wasn't. Just a man who had found the way to happiness and control of his life.
