Cleckheaton hammer thrower Sarah Holt has been named in a provisional 109-strong team by UK Athletics for the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki from June 27-July 1.

The team will be significantly reduced in size next Monday following this weekend’s Olympic trials in Birmingham, after which any track athletes already gaining automatic qualification for Team GB for the Games will be de-selected.
