Wall hat-trick lights up Bradford Dudley Hill's latest win

Bradford Dudley Hill maintained their unbeaten run in National Conference Division One with a fine 24-16 win over a determined Castleford Lock Lane outfit.

Hill started the stronger and Neil Wall opened the scoring for the visitors when he latched on to a fine chip kick from Mick Hill to squeeze in at the corner.

Hill extended their lead minutes later thanks again to Wall when he took a neat drop-off from Lewis Evans before powering over.

A Lock Lane try narrowed Hill’s lead but it was reinstated just before half-time when Simon Sewell took to the sky before plucking the ball to touch down.

The game looked dead and buried for Lock Lane when Nathan Kitson scooted over but two consecutive scores to the home side left Hill with a very slender 20-16 advantage.

It was down to that man Wall again to secure the points and retain Hill’s league leaders status when he crashed over with just minutes to spare to complete a fine hat-trick.
