It’s been another mad week for Bradford Bulls but I think the players, staff and supporters have come out of it with flying colours.

The lads have responded in the best possible way, with four points out of a tough Easter period.

The staff at the Bulls have done an outstanding job in getting us to the £500k and our supporters have been just unbelievable really.

You’ve got behind every fundraising event, packed out Odsal on Friday and made the best out of this bad situation.

I’ve brushed over a few subjects there that have to be re-visited.

Firstly, what a game the boys turned out against Leeds.

Under tough circumstances we were brilliant. We had a lot of pressure on us that night and we just would not be broken.

It was one of the most determined performances I’ve seen and no matter what Leeds threw at us, there was no way we would be beat.

Secondly, what an achievement to get the £500k. The generosity people have shown has really blown us all away.

BUT… we are only half way to our total. There is still another £500k to raise and this is where the hard work begins. But in the meantime, I think everyone can give themselves a big pat on the back.

This weekend our Challenge Cup campaign begins.

We’re definitely due a good cup run and I think we have the squad for it this year.

I’m dying for a Wembley appearance and I’m sure the supporters wouldn’t mind a trip down to London either.

Doncaster will come to Odsal with nothing to lose and I’m sure they will give us a good game.

Lets get down and cheer the boys on and, once again, a big thank you to everyone who has helped through the tough times.
