Girlington and Fairbank's Bradford derby provided a thriller in the Spen Valley Challenge Cup.

Usman Asmir put Fairbank ahead in the first half, Girlington equalising in the second half via Mohammed Ozaire to take the game into extra-time.

There were no further goals and Girlington won 6-5 on penalties.

BD3 United beat Howden Clough 8-1, although Howden Clough scored first via Corey Starkey and were 1-1 at half-time.

On the mark for BD3 were Ihtisham Yasin (3), Sajad Ali (2), Abdul Qayum, Danyal Zahid and Aman Yasin.

Hard luck story of the weekend belonged to Bradford, who scored in the final ten minutes and were drawing 1-1 against Ravensthorpe Rangers, only to concede a goal in the last 30 seconds.

Gurpal Bhambra put Bradford ahead, Zahid and Fessy netting for Ravensthorpe.

Mount lost 2-1 to West Bradford Spartans for whom Sam Prest and Bobby Canning scored.

TVR edged out Quarry 3-2, Asif Iqbal, Junid Taj and Asis being on target for TVR, man of the match Jason Hinchcliffe and Danny Goodlad replying.

Vision lost 4-0 to Jardys, for whom Dan Stevens, Johnny Beverley, Lee Speight and Ben McCann scored, while Marsh went on a scoring spree in their 12-2 victory over Bradford All Stars.

Andrew Milner, David Webster, Mark Wigley and Michael Padgett bagged braces for Marsh, Chris Blackburn, James Parkin and Scott Newby also scoring. For All Stars, Mohammed Shoaib and Misbah Choudhury netted.

Inter Batley lost 3-1 to Oakwell, Ashley Barnes (2) and Luke Newsome hitting the mark for the winners, scored one goal, Fateh Laher repying.

In Division One, BD3 United Reserves won 4-2 at Thornhill B, whose marksmen were Sam Hargreaves and Jake Garvey (penalty). Sheraz Mahmood (3) and Faisal Hussain replied.

Savile United beat Ravenswharfe Hotel 8-2, with Faisal Adam hitting six.

Zubair Patel and Shahid Patel completed United's tally, Jamie and Josh Crossland netting for Ravenswharfe.
