Hull 24 Bradford Bulls 18

Tom Briscoe's 70th-minute try broke the Bulls' hearts as they produced a courageous display which should have earned them a share of the spoils.

Mick Potter's men, still reeling from the news that the club needs to raise £500,000 by next Friday to stay in business, largely matched high-flying Hull in every department.

After Richard Horne put the hosts ahead, Bradford replied through Keith Lulia's effort before Willie Manu's try put Hull 12-6 up at the break.

The Bulls struck back shortly after the restart through Karl Pryce, only for Horne to grab his second in the 57th minute.

Yet again, though, the Bulls roused themselves and John Bateman's converted try tied the scores at 18-18 before Briscoe's try and Danny Tickle's late penalty confirmed a fifth straight win for Hull.

Don't forget to turn up at Odsal today. There's the 18's playing then West Bowling A v Wyke then West Bowling v Queensbury. All in aid to help the Bulls. Tell everyone and get them to make a good crowd for the players playing today

An impressive effort. Let's keep it going against the Rhinos and the win should be ours.

Great effort in adversity. Hopefully its a sign that the players will stay strong and close knit in supporting and doing right for the club. We need everyone pulling in the right direction to come out the other side stronger. Roll on next Friday for the game and Saturday for the funds announcement, though if successful, I have a sneaky feeling it will be announced before the Whino's game to create some feel good / reassurance to all.

Adversity, what adversity. It doessnt bother the players one bit. We all know that the Bulls wont go under and even if they did the players would be off to other clubs without losing a penny
