Some refereeing decisions are just a joke

It’s really frustrating to see more refereeing decisions keep going against us. I just wonder if some of these officials are good enough to be in the league.
Referees who keep making mistakes in the Premier League get relegated to the Championship. So why shouldn’t bad ones at our level get dropped to the Conference?
That might make a few of them stop acting like little Hitlers and maybe think about the game more instead of themselves.
I know we can’t harp on about it but some of the decisions are a joke.
The game needs more football-orientated people to be refs. It’s all good being ex-policemen and ex-school teachers loving the authority of their position but that doesn’t wash on a football pitch.
I think the FA are looking to get more former players involved and I hope they succeed because it will help.
It’s not an easy job and I understand that referees do get abuse. But most of the time that is only because they have made an horrendous decision.
The two penalties against us on Tuesday were terrible and it made the journey back from Wimbledon feel like forever.
But we can’t dwell on it now. We’ve got another tough game at Aldershot coming straight up and we have to let our football do the talking.
Our March schedule is terrible and I’m sure they could have split the extra games into next month. When did you last hear of a match being called off in the middle of April?
But one positive is that once this month is out the way, we’ve got a good idea of where this season is going to end up.
Aldershot are on a good run of form and won’t be an easy place to go. But at least Anthony Charles isn’t playing for them any more.
He used to only score one goal a season and it would always be against us in a 1-0 win!
We’re missing Fages of course but Ricky is coming back and Dave Syers showed the other night that he is fully fit again. The gaffer’s got a strong squad to pick from.
Obviously it was nice for me to be involved in that at Wimbledon. I didn’t expect to be on the bench but hopefully it’s a step closer to getting back in the team.

o We have been thinking of starting the same for other English leagues next year, do you think enough people would help us by posting mistakes.
