Ben Jeffries was handed his first start of the season as the Bulls sought to return to winning ways against his former club Wakefield.
The ex-Wildcats favourite was named at scrum-half in place of the injured Luke Gale, while Chev Walker missed out through injury.
The former Leeds centre picked up a heavy knock during last weekend's defeat to Wigan, ruling him out of action and meaning Keith Lulia again lined up alongside Michael Platt in the centres.
John Bateman was passed fit to return to action in the second row after a recent elbow injury.
Bulls: Brett Kearney, Elliot Kear, Michael Platt, Keith Lulia, Jason Crookes, Jarrod Sammut, Ben Jeffries, Craig Kopczak, Matt Diskin, Bryn Hargreaves, John Bateman, Elliott Whitehead, Jamie Langley Interchange: Heath L'Estrange, Nick Scruton, Phil Joseph, Tom Burgess
