City have signed left back Matt Fry on a short-term contract for the rest of the season.
Fry, 21, was a free agent after leaving West Ham at the end of last month and has been training with the club. The six foot defender previously played under Phil Parkinson during two loan spells with Charlton.
Fry takes over Luke O'Brien's number three shirt and has been registered in time for tomorrow's trip to AFC Wimbledon - if it survives the 1.30pm pitch inspection.

Three days ago TA was saying" PP will resist the open loan window because of city's clean bill of health" and " i'm not looking at the moment because we're ok"
Does this mean we have had a player injured in training since Tuesday ?
If so our squad must not have been big enough to give us adequate cover.

,as long as Matt Fry wears the Claret and Amber I along with thousands of City supporters will give him all my vocal support, when it counts, on match day. Wanna be managers who post on here, just for once tell the rest of us, although of course you pathologically don't agree with this managerial decision what in the way of support on a match day do you intend to contribute to make it work. Negative posters, give the rest of us, true supporters, a word you should look up in the dictionary, what does your support actually amount to on a match day. What support will you give, that inspires Matt Fry to give his best for us, want to stay with us and possibly convince other footballers to join us. New players rarely show their best in their first few games but quality support can speed up the process. Quality support makes average players believe that they are world beaters.

I'm totally bemused. Yet another of PP's mates rolling up. We've already got two left back's in the squad. Now add Robbie to the number of outcasts at the club. God knows how much we've paid in wages this season to players who faces don't fit.

However, you seem to be confusing 'argument/disagreeme
nt' about issues affecting City players, management etc on 'discussion sites' like this one or in a pub or anywhere else for some sort of 'betrayal'/'disloyal
ty.'
We can all have our various different opinions about City and at the same time come together as one to support the team on match days. I see no contradiction at all with this.
To try to brand people as 'negative'/'negatron
s' ie anti-City and disloyal is ridiculous.
I support Bradford City FC. However, the managers/players/cha
irmen of the club at various points in their history are only the temporary 'custodians' of the club we all support. In a few years, many will be gone but it will carry on (hopefully) with different people. The club should be paramount but those 'personalities' who are employed by the club MUST be accountable ie answerable for their performances on the field/in the dug out etc.
Accountability is fair and reasonable and shouldn't be something to be feared.
So long as comments/criticism etc is NOT abusive and is 'argued' then I believe it is legitimate.
Only 'dictatorships' and those who have something to fear/cover up may want to shut down healthy discussion/disagreem
ent and even dissent!!
I am sure that all those in positions of 'power' at Bradford City AFC expect discussion of their actions and criticism from time to time. I am sure also, that they are quite able to 'take it' and stick up for themselves when they have to!!
Let's continue to SAY WHAT WE REALLY THINK WITHOUT FEAR OR FAVOUR!!
