Cheers for the help, shame about the boos

Well, I think it’s safe to say that wasn’t the start to the season that we were hoping for!

I could write a two-page spread on what we could have done better but our focus now is preparing for our next game at Castleford tomorrow.

Nobody was more disappointed with our performance against Catalan than us but we need to learn from our mistakes and right the wrongs this week against Cas.

A big thank you has to go out to all the fans and staff who mucked in to help make sure the game went ahead last weekend.

After that show of such rugby spirit it was disappointing to hear some supporters booing the lads.

I understand it was a frustrating afternoon but it was round one of a long Super League season and we need everyone to get behind us more than ever.

Despite the result, it was great to be back playing at Odsal.

The new boys loved the stadium and can’t wait to play in front of a full house... especially in better weather!

Talking of weather, I think these sub-zero temperatures have frozen what few brain cells Tom Burgess has!

After a tense Ebay bidding war, big Burgo couldn’t believe his luck when he nipped in with a last-gasp bid to win a brand new pair of size 12 Adidas pumps.

Unfortunately, they were a child’s size 12 and won’t even fit onto his big toes!

We have had a big week’s training ahead of the Castleford game. We are a better team than what we showed against Catalan and everyone is looking forward to proving that tomorrow.

It really would be great to see a big following of Bulls fans this weekend to help us kick-start our season.
