Queensbury under-tens Cougars and Colts have both made it five wins out of five so far this season in the Keybury League.

Cougars defeated Pudsey Devils 4-0 with goals from Josh Sharp, Joel Etienne, Isaac Rushworth and Charlie Lockwood, while George Sepe saved a penalty to round off a great team performance.

Pudsey Demons held no fears for the Colts, who won 7-1 with braces for Sam Hainsworth and Alex Donlan. There were also two own goals, Zach Crayden-Reed completing the scoring, as well as a marvellous save by ’bury keeper Daniel Rawson.

Bradford Park Avenue Lizards had their ten-match winning run halted by Queensbury Colts two weekends ago but bounced back with a 5-0 win over Calverley.

However, it was 0-0 at half-time after which a transformed Avenue scored all their goals in 15 minutes, Dominic Corps getting his third hat-trick of the season, a Jack Wright solo and substitute Dylan Newsholme completing the tally. Calverley’s keeper was man of the match.

Avenue Scorpions won 3-0 against Calverley A, Ali Arshad, Riley Healey, man of the match Jack Fairlie and Nigel Linjie defending well for the winners, whose marksmen were Regan Davidson and Arshad (2), his second being a peach from just inside the halfway line direct from the Calverley keeper’s kick.

East Bowling Allstars handed Leeds Maccabi (played four, won four) their first defeat of the season, triumphing 3-2.

Goalkeeper Thomas Indriks scored one of Bowling’s goal with a punt that bounced once and went in. Defenders Jayden Newman and Jason Rakchra had fantastic games, Abby Hall and Robbie Green also playing well.

Goals from star striker Zain Hussain and man of the match Joseph Oates gave Albion Sports a 2-0 win at organised and spirited Burley Jets.

Fairbank United under-nines are staying strong in their inaugural season, winning 3-2 at Nab Wood in the White Division.

Daniel Matloob, Raees Khan and Mohammed Subhan gave Fairbank a 3-0 lead but sloppy defending made for a nail-biting finish.

Bradford Park Avenue Raptors went a goal behind in the first minute but hit back to win a thriller 5-4 against Eldwick.

Oliver Welsh’s probing led to goals for Avenue’s Taylor Williams and James Hebb in a 2-2 first half, Vincent Henderson and Williams both giving the Raptors the lead in the second half when Tyler Brown showed his skills.

Eldwick scored in the last minute to make it 4-4 but, with virtually the last kick, Williams curled the winner into the top corner to complete his hat-trick.

Scholemoor Juniors got back to winning ways with a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Guiseley Yellow, thanks to good goalkeeping from DJ Edmands and goals from Armani Andrews, Gabriel Drake and a last-minute volley by Louis Price.

Horsforth Stallions defeated Shipley Tigers 7-2, despite the latter dominating the first half.

Man of the match Courbon Carr’s cross gave William Kelly the chance to make it 1-1 for Tigers, and Carr also netted.

Albion Sports notched a hard-fought 2-1 victory at My BD5, Brandon McDonagh putting Albion in front in the first half before BD5 equalised.

A combination of poor finishing and good goalkeeping kept Albion at bay in the second half until Lewis Miller rounded two players and coolly slotted home to give them the points.

Albion’s under-eights came from 2-0 down to gain a 3-3 draw against Guiseley Yellows. Jnai Trought scored either side of half-time for Albion, whose third goal came from a Mohammed Rahees thunderbolt.

James Parkinson got Horton Foxes off to a flyer with a goal in the first minute in their top-of-the-table clash against leaders Oakworth Wasps in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League Under-12 C Division.

Charlie Raywood’s cracker made it 2-0 but, inspired by their keeper, the visitors scored with 15 minutes left to make it tense. Sam Thomas was the Foxes’ man of the match.

Skipton LMS Juniors are leading Under-13 Division B, and showed why in a 9-3 victory at Bradford Park Avenue Juniors.

Billy Raistrick (2) and Oliver Raistrick (no relation) scored for Avenue, whose keeper Nathan Allatt gave another strong display.

In C Division, Fairbank United maintained their 100 per cent start with a 3-2 win at Calverley, who soon took the lead.

United responded by excellent quickfire goals from man of the match Hussain Iqbal, while Zain Qureshi got the third after Iqbal’s mazy dribble and centre.

Calverley responded on the stroke of half-time but a brilliant rearguard action from Fairbank gave them the points, including a vital save at the death from stand-in keeper Wahab Mirza.

Krishan Patel’s brace put Albion Sports under-14s ahead against Oakworth in Division A as man of the match Aiden Craythorne and Anas Ahmed ran the game in midfield.

Sanday Chudasama scored a third after beating two defenders and Craythorne the fourth with a stunning 25-yarder as Albion won 4-2, Cameron Green and debutant goalkeeper Hassan Hussain shoring things up at the back.

Nab Wood drew 3-3 at BCAB in an Under-15 Division D contest that showed all that is best about junior football.

BCAB led 1-0 and 3-1, but Charlie Hague’s move from defence to midfield was the ten-minute cameo that hauled Nab Wood back into the match.

Oli Dunn, who had already found the net for Nab Wood, was tireless up front, Jack Partington netted from a free-kick and Hague got the third. Nab Wood’s man of the match was Jordan Baxter.

Bradford Tigers dug deep to earn a point against Pudsey Juniors in Under-16 Division C. Tigers were 3-0 down at half-time after a couple of defensive lapses and a soft penalty but completed a remarkable turnaround in the second half.

Penalties by Joe Stewart, who pounced on the rebound, and Eden Phillip, plus a brilliant finish by Stewart secured the draw.

Stewart won the match point, left winger Danny Boyd being the managers’ man of the match.

BD3 United had a man dismissed but beat Queensbury 2-1 with late goals from Mohammad Izrar and a great finish from Wazza Hakimy. BD3’s man of the match was outstanding centre back Shabaz Ali.

Undercliffe Celtic under-13s, newly formed this season, are off the mark.

They defeated Menston 4-3 with goals from man of the match Callum Surtees (3) and Aidan McLoughlin.

Celtic’s under-14s thumped Sutton 16-0, man of the match Ryan Simpson netting five, Philip Byron and Nathan Bailey getting hat-tricks and Akmal Khan and Ben White notching braces and Lewis Searle completing the tally.

Ollie Turton scored for Bradford Hornets under-12s in their 8-1 Huddersfield RCD League defeat to Batley, Brandon Holdsworth winning Hornets’ man of the match award.

Wyke Wanderers A under-eights ground out a 1-1 draw against in-form Pudsey, Reece Clay netting for Wyke and almost getting a winner.

Wyke B followed up with a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Norristhorpe, Ellis Farrar getting both goals for Wyke, for whom defender Ben Duffy was outstanding.

Wyke under-11s held leaders Northowram to 0-0 at half-time and had a Jake Francis shot cleared off the line in the second half but lost 4-0.

Wibsey Lions under-tens A won 3-1 at Dewsbury Rangers A, despite creating fewer chances.

Connor Barran, Owen Khan and Jacob McLoughlin netted and Ben Kerwick won the man of the match award. Lions B lost 4-0 to Rangers B in a subdued display.

East Bowling Allstars under-13s were superb in defeating Gomersal and Cleckheaton 6-4 after the latter had won their first four matches. Jordan Hobson (5) and Luke Leedham, from a brilliant free-kick, got the goals.

Allstars under-14s made it four from four with a 5-1 win over Battyeford. Aaron Morris (2), Thomas Connell, Ryan Pogson and David Moynihan netting.
