An outstanding bowling spell contibuted to Attock United making their lowest score of the season in the West Riding Sunday Council, while Abaseen moved down a place.

Batting first at Salem, AMCC made 201 but doubted that was enough given Abaseen’s record.

Then all-rounder Fiaz Akram took 5-36, which, despite Masood Khan’s 54, gave AMCC the win by 31 runs.

Attock United, who head the Second Division, had a taste of the top flight when Azeems’ Sajid Akhtar had a staggering spell of 7-2 that knocked the stuffing out of them. Azeems still lost four wickets in getting the win.

Big-hitting Kashmir were all out for 278. with Shabir Bashir top-scoring with 50.

It was a lot too many for Attock Sweet Centre, who ran out of gas on 114.

Manningham took their top-ranking team to Euro Windows at East Morton, and had little trouble in winning, adding to the home team’s woes at the foot of the division.

Najam Butt helped struggling Friends to total 249 at home to Skipton Kashmir, whose captain Aslan Asif made 88, while old-timer Rub Nawaz hit a great 80 in their five-wicket win.

Pritesh Lad made 69 out of 108 for Prajapati but Zamir Shah’s 68 left Westwood Park welcome winners by four wickets.

Muhammed Rehan (73) and Malik Nasser Aslam (64) helped newcomers Khan make 248 and put Shaadi on the rack. Despite Saqib Hussain's 61 and 53 from Sajid Khan, Shaadi lost by 21 runs.
