Denholme’s Rebekah Tiler shone at a South Yorkshire Indoor Athletics Series event in Sheffield.
The Bingley Harrier tackled 200 metres for the first time and won her under-13 race in 28.5sec – the fastest time in the series as a whole.
She also won the 60m sprint in a personal best of 8.6sec and was third in the shot with 7.44 metres.
Team-mate Rhea Southcott won three under-11 events – the 600m in 2min 6.30sec, the long jump with 3.39m and the 60m in 9.7sec.
These results are just part of some impressive recent performances by Bingley Harriers females.
The senior ladies team of Victoria Wilkinson, Mary Wilkinson, Emma Clayton and Jo Buckley won the team prize at the North of England Cross-Country Championships.
The quartet followed this with second place in the English National Cross-Country Championships at Alton Towers.
