JCT600 are to back Bradford & Bingley Rugby Football Club for a fourth season.

The Bradford-based car retailer will remain the Bees’ major sponsor until the end of the 2012-13 season.

As well as sporting the JCT600 logo on the first-team’s playing shirts, the company also promote their dealerships in the clubhouse, around the stadium and in the match programme and displays a selection of its cars at home matches.

So far this season, the Bees have had mixed fortunes in National League Three North, but gradually the new team, under director of rugby Martin Whitcombe, is beginning to come together.

Peter Harrison, head of marketing and sponsorship at Bradford and Bingley RFC, said: “JCT600’s continued sponsorship has allowed the club to open up its facilities to the greater community, so introducing a new generation of young people in the Bradford area to rugby football.

“The Tordoff family are always keen to be kept informed of how things are developing and, in particular, the part the club plays in the community.

“The city of Bradford has the distinction of being the ancestral home of the world-famous Barbarians Football Club, founded in 1890, and we’re proud to once again be linked with such an established and prestigious Yorkshire company as JCT600.”

Jack Tordoff, chairman of JCT600, commented: “JCT600 has enjoyed a long and illustrious history in Bradford and as one of the city’s successful businesses, we believe we have a responsibility to make a positive contribution to the local community.

“Sport plays a crucial role in bringing people together and, as a life-long rugby fan, I am particularly pleased to be continuing to support one of Yorkshire’s and indeed, the country’s, great clubs.”

With its headquarters in Bradford, JCT600 is a family business with a 60-year history. It has 48 dealerships in the North and Midlands.
