Peter Taylor has moved to bolster City’s strikeforce by signing Stoke City youngster Louis Moult on loan until the start of January.
The Bantams boss has also rewarded Lewis Hunt with an initial one-year contract after being impressed with the defender during his pre-season trial spell.
Moult, 18, is rated highly by Stoke, where he finished last season as top scorer for their reserves.
He was handed his first-team debut in the Carling Cup tie against Leyton Orient last August and made his Premier League bow for the Potters as a substitute against Burnley at Turf Moor.
He is set to feature in tomorrow’s friendly at Rochdale.
Hunt is to wear the number 15 shirt and will be competing with Simon Ramsden for the right-back berth, although the 27-year-old can also play in the centre of defence.

It shows trust of P.T by premier league gaffers. Getting loan players from the prem, champ, shows what we could become. However, this story **** me off!! Its stuff that should have already been dealt with. The Bantams have taken steps to protect the most vulnerable area of the refurbished pitch at the Coral Windows Stadium. ( I sometimes scratch my head) 10 years too late!! Surely, the club need to use some kind of way to protect the touchlines where the linesmen are, and also the entrance from the players tunnel. This is a no-brainer. Why suddenly have they thought about this now?? To walk down the tunnel at V.P is a health hazard for players, first the concrete steps, then the concrete runway on to the pitch. Using metal studs it is a skating rink. Having done this before, you run on the pitch like Bambi, rather than a raging bull. Simple things, little details need sorting out, so we can have a good season
