Yorkshire will have to chase down a big total if they are to make it six wins out of six in the Clydesdale Bank 40.
After winning the toss and electing to field at Cheltenham, the Gloucestershire Gladiators have posted 294-6.
It is their biggest ever total against the Tykes in 40-over cricket and it means that Andrew Gale's side must achieve a run rate of more than 7.3 from their 40 overs if they are to pick up another victory.
Chris Taylor did most of the damage for the home side, with an unbeaten 83, but a partnership of 105 between James Franklin (42) and Alex Gidman (64) also boosted the Gladiators score.
Tim Bresnan, playing because he did not make the England starting 11, and Steven Patterson were the pick of the Tykes bowlers, with two wickets apiece, but on a good track, and with small boundaries square of the wicket, it was always going to be a difficult assignment.
It means the Yorkshire batsmen now face an uphill task if they want to maintain the side's 100 percent record in this competition.
