City's youth team were beaten 3-2 at a more experienced York side this morning.
David Wetherall again picked a young line-up which included a couple of under-16s.
York, mainly made up of under-18s, led 3-1 at half-time. But City rallied well after the break and could have forced a draw.
Oliver Forsyth netted again with a penalty, his 19th goal including pre-season. And Darren Stephenson added to the City tally with a superb second-half strike.
