Keighley 19, Selby 12

A brilliant first-half Yorkshire Division One performance yesterday brought a 19-point half-time lead for Keighley, with both backs and forwards impressing.

Tries came to flanker David Pullen, full back Mark Beckett and hooker Will Armitage, with two conversions by fly half Alex Brown.

Injuries and lethargy by Keighley, combined with a much more concentrated effort by Selby, led to the visitors mounting a spirited comeback in the second half.

Centre Alex Webster and wingman Alex Arther each crossed for tries, with fly half Chris Quinn adding a conversion, but Keighley saw off the challenge to emerge worthy winners.
