Former England international Andy Titterrell is set to make his debut for Leeds Carnegie tomorrow night in their LV= Cup pool clash with Saracens at Headingley (8.00).
The hooker, who toured with the British and Irish Lions in 2005, joined Carnegie on a three-month deal at the start of December.
However, Titterrell was not registered in time for the Amlin Challenge Cup duties so has not been available for the past two weeks.
That also applies to centre Henry Fa’afili and fly half Joe Ford, who are also drafted in this week.
Scrum half Joe Bedford will make his first start of the season after recovering from a broken leg, while Jon Pendlebury will captain the side alongside new England Under-20 skipper Jacob Rowan in the back row.
Leeds Carnegie (home to Saracens): J Goodridge; P Wackett, H Fa’afili, H Paul, S Armstrong; J Ford, J Bedford; G Hardy, A Titterrell, P Bucknall, T Denton, P Murphy, J Pendlebury, R Oakley, J Rowan. Replacements: P Nilsen, A Moreno, P Swainston, E Lund, K Myall, S Mathie, J Strange, S Barrow.
