The Bradford Mutual Sunday School League have followed the Bradford Central League in bringing in identity cards.
A proposal to use them was carried 19-4 at the Mutual Sunday School League’s annual meeting at Carlton House on Little Horton Lane.
The criteria for entering the H Broadbent Trophy was also clarified.
Clubs finishing in the lowest six places in the bottom group from the previous season will be put into the second team cup, that motion being carried 23-1.
Umpires will be better paid next season for longer journeys.
In any trip to a ground outside of a five-mile radius of Bradford City Hall, an umpire will be entitled to £8 expenses above his or her normal match fee. This figure has increased from £5 and was passed 20-4.
The £8 figure is also the new weekly penalty for any club failing to nominate an umpire.
The fine will also apply if a nominated club umpire fails to turn up without giving a valid reason to the Umpires’ Association.
That penalty also used to be £5, with the higher amount passed 20-0.
Any club refusing to pay an umpire their fees (plus expenses if applicable) will be fined £25. The proposal was accepted 24-0.
Clubs must also provide the league secretary with a copy of their public liability insurance certificate before the new season.
Failure to do so will mean that club are not able to play matches. That rule addition was also passed 24-0.
