BRADFORD & DISTRICT SEA AC

The next general meeting will be held at the Girlington Conservative Club on the December 15 at 8pm.

Hopefully, we should be able to finalise trips for the coming year.

As members know, this is our annual Christmas get-together with a giant raffle and buffet. Please remember to bring a raffle prize if you want a raffle ticket.

Wives, girlfriends and boyfriends are welcome. We would like as many members as possible to attend this meeting.

New members are always welcome to come and join up for 2010.

Idle & THACKLEY AC

Result of last Sunday’s match on the River Swale at Swainby: 1 J Leyland 3lb 10oz, 2= C Hardaker and M Prudhoe 1oz. The annual meeting will be on Monday (9pm) at Idle Working Men’s Club. The next Swainby Open match is on Sunday, December 20. For bookings, call Bradford 615016.

Hewenden aa Draw for Sunday’s Christmas Cheer pike match is at 9am in the car park. Please note that licences will be checked, including EA licences. Roach fishing is excellent at the moment, with three to six pounds easy on rod or pole with maggot. Feeder for skimmers and better roach from peg 23 on pinkie and maggot at 40 yards.

LISTERHILLS AA

Membership books for 2010 are now available from all of the usual tackle shops. Prices remain the same as last year. For Sunday’s match at Pilley’s Dam, the gate will be open at 8.30am, with the draw at 8.45am. Not many anglers have been out during the last week, all catch reports are welcome.

BRADFORD No 1 AA

The river levels are running high this weekend. Still waters look like the best bet, with Willow Hall fishing well for roach and Raskelf still looking good for ide. Next match is an open match at Cowthorpe on Sunday, December 13. Tickets are £12 from match secretary Simon Foster on Bradford 571175 or from Wibsey Angling Centre.
