Glasshoughton 4 Eccleshill 4
Eccleshill United remain bottom of the Division One table despite picking up a point on the road when a second-half comeback earned them a 4-4 draw at third-from-bottom
Glasshoughton Welfare.
Welfare had raided Eccleshill’s neighbours Liversedge during the week and signed Craig Sheridan, Joe Hewitt and Jermaine Moyce – who has also played for Thackley.
It was Moyce who opened the scoring, putting Welfare in front in the 24th minute.
Andy Fieldhouse levelled for the Eagles but Kurtis Noble restored the home side’s lead before half-time.
Noble netted his second soon after the break but the Eagles hit back through Peter Dawson and Keenan Radcliffe to level.
Noble claimed his hat-trick in the 79th minute to make it 4-3 but the Eagles refused to be beaten and Ian Brock netted the equaliser three minutes from time.
