Bulls face former boss at Murrayfield

Bradford Bulls will come face-to-face with Odsal legend Brian Noble at Murrayfield Magic.

The Bulls have been drawn against Noble's new side Crusaders RL at the Super League showpiece, which takes place on May 1 and 2.

Noble only took charge of the Welsh club last month after four seasons at Wigan and is joined on the coaching staff at the Crusaders by another Odsal old boy, Iestyn Harris.

Full Magic weekend draw: Bradford Bulls v Crusaders RL, Castleford Tigers v Catalans Dragons, Hull FC v Harlequins, Leeds Rhinos v Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, St Helens v Hull KR, Warrington Wolves v Salford City Reds, Wigan Warriors v Huddersfield Giants.

Just show how BAD the Bulls have become. 2 years ago we would be playing Leeds at the Magic weekend. Now will rank along side the bottom team in the league. This season has got to Macca last if we don't become a top 4 team again

Who cares about this when there are more important things to report such as the Orford deal being in doubt. Come on T&A, do your job!!!

Noble will have his work cut out down in wales. I think they will struggle again this year but as long as we DONT lose to them again i dont care where we play them.

What the hell's going on. Chris walker has confirmed he signed an agreement with the Bulls in August to play for us. This was to stop him accepting offers from other clubs. Are we going to have another saga like Harris where he was signed by a solicitor who should have known better. Probably the reason why the chairman left in 2006. Why can't the Bulls do their legal homework before making us the laughing stock of rugby league again.

That's some article. It appears Walker DID indeed sign a contract but the last two lines of the article appear to clarify the situation. It looks like the Bulls did not register the contract with the RFL so although it may be deemed "unethical" and "reflects badly on the Bradford Bulls" as the article says. It appears there's nothing legally amiss.

A contract is only binding if the parties involved both sign it off, correct?

As for Magic weekend. What a load of bab it is anyway.

i notice none of you mention the fact that walker "could have signed for the catalans, who made an offer"
agent is saying they turned it down because of the bulls deal !!!!

you can bet your life they asked for a lot of euros, then the catalans found they could get sa cheaper, so au revoir walker, thus allowing agent to now begin bull baiting. (yes, they may have signed a "form of sorts" but it all comes down to what the bulls did or didn't sign)

down under they have a saying and believe me, mates here say he's known for talking (sh***) bulldust.

if you look at who he's got involved you can tell he's clutching at straws, players association, engaged a lawyer, rfl, to block signing, if no contract in hands of rfl in walkers name what can they do?

Well said viking!! There is of course the small issue of the Walker visa. He says he's been isued with a sponsorship number. Now forgive me I don't know what exactly that entails but would guess it allows him to apply. He apparently is no stranger to the law so could be issues there.

Haitch,He would have no chance of getting a visa to come to England, hence him becoming offered to Catalans,They have obviously seen problems so no deal.He is just trying to stir trouble.Let him first get a visa and then di his complaining.

Hi Spanglish...exactly my sentiments mate. There were a few eyebrows raised when it was thought he might be coming. I was said he can be trouble. Seems that is the case.
