Woods opened the scoring after a high ball was misjudged and the ball was turned in at the far post, and held the advantage until the interval.

In the second half, Wilsden stepped up a gear and when Pip Greetham was tripped in the area, Sam Murphy scored from the spot. The game remained close for the next 15 minutes but Greetham scored Wilsden’s second goal from a cross by Murphy.

Woods pushed for the equaliser but the Wilsden defence was led superbly by man of the match Joseph Jagger and, with five minutes remaining, Callum Whitehouse made it 3-1 with a half-volley into the top corner.
