Burscough 0, Guiseley 4
The Lions continued their fine run of form in the UniBond League Premier Division with a comfortable victory at Burscough tonight.
All four goals came in the first half, three of them inside a hectic ten-minute spell early on. Danny Ellis broke the deadlock in the eighth minute, netting a header from a Dave Merris corner.
Lee Tuck rifled in the next two in double quick time. His first was a good finish from a tight angle and two minutes later he lashed one in with his other foot following an inviting through ball from Liam Needham.
The fourth was a shot from Lee Askham, and the only mystery was how Guiseley failed to add to their tally in a second half when they created a hat full of chances.
