Thornbury Youth Community Centre led the way on a day of high scores in the Telegraph & Argus League.
The League Cup holders blitzed Ventnor Youth 9-0 after opening the scoring inside ten seconds when Mohammed Rizwan converted Phil Smith’s cross.
Rizwan and Smith went on to complete a hat-trick apiece, with Majid Ali (2) and teenager Temour Khan also on target as Sohail Ilyas was named star man.
TVR United won 7-4 against fellow newcomers Bradford West Spartans, with four goals by Mohamed Ishmaeel proving decisive.
Ashiq Iqbal and Abul Kashim struck in the first five minutes for TVR, with Kashim’s second making up their tally.
Bradford Arms maintained their early-season form with an impressive 6-0 home win against Bradford All Stars.
Liam Charles gave the hosts a two-goal interval lead and completed his hat-trick on the hour mark.
Ryan Metcalfe made it 4-0 and Dave Scott crowned a promising debut with a goal in the 70th minute, before substitute Terry Clapham added the sixth.
Paul Andrews was another hat-trick hero as West Bowling United won 6-2 at Abundant Life.
Dave Niblock and Ladi replied for the hosts but Hamid, Sharaz Khan and Ikfas Ashfaq pulled United clear.
The final game ended 1-1 between Lidget Green and White Abbey Road, who equalised with the last kick.
