Rawdon are on target to win the Aire-Wharfe League's Waddilove Cup for the first time since 1950 after knocking out favourites North Leeds by 17 runs in yesterday's semi-final.
In a match reduced to 25 overs per side, David Morgan (47) and Niall Colman (32) were the main contributors as they made 191 for seven.
North Leeds made a good start but Rawdon kept picking up wickets steadily, with Morgan and Denis Rock claiming two each, and they prevented the home side from hitting their target of 84 off the last ten overs.
Rawdon’s opponents in the final at Collingham on Sunday, August 2 will be Beckwithshaw after they knocked out Burley.
The innings of Phil Critchley (59) and teenager James Ford (48no) proved crucial as Beckwithshaw stumbled to 138 for eight, and Burley were dismissed for 112, despite a battling 34 from Mark Harrison.
