City keeper Jon McLaughlin will be playing for a bronze medal at the World Student Games in Serbia tomorrow.
Great Britain face Japan in the third-placed match after an agonising penalty shoot-out loss to Ukraine in the semi-finals.
Ukraine came through 6-5 after the game had finished goalless in 120 minutes.
But McLaughlin, the hero in their penalty win over France two days earlier, has now gone over six hours of action without conceding.
