Mawson in gold form for Bingley

Bingley Swimming Club travelled to the new John Charles Aquatic Centre in Leeds for the Team Jorvik Short-Course Sprints Meet.
Despite having a small squad, the Bingley swimmers shone through with no less than 40 top-six placings out of a total of 52 swims, including 34 personal bests.
The top nine-year-old girl prize went to Isobel Mawson, whose medal tally included four golds and a silver. Ashleigh Nichols was placed second in the top 14-year girls.
Overall, Bingley finished seventh out of 14 competing clubs.
