BRADFORD & DISTRICT SEA AC: Members who are booked to go on the trip to Rhyl on Saturday should call Brian tomorrow night between 7.30-8pm on 07901-717615 for a weather report and travel arrangements. If there is any non-member who would like to go on this trip, please give Brian a ring tomorrow night. The next general meeting will be on Tuesday, July 21 in the Leventhorp Conservative Club on Thornton Road, next to the fire station, at 8pm. Potential new members will be made very welcome.

WASHBURN VALLEY: The heaviest fish caught this week was 6lb 12oz by Jim Neeson using buzzer. Fewston & Swinsty: Both reservoirs catching lots of fresh water with the stormy weather. Fish being taken on buzzer patterns and nymphs. Evening tickets well worth fishing. Thruscross: Wild brown giving good sport on small spider patterns. Catch details for week ending June 28 – Day ticket: Fewston 23, Swinsty 10, Thruscross (catch and return) 3; Total fish caught: Fewston 78, Swinsty 27, Thruscross 12; Average per rod: Fewston 3.4, Swinsty 2.7, Thruscross 4.0.

BRADFORD No1 AA: Result of the under-17s junior match at Rathskelf: 1 C Mahoney 10lb 1oz, 2= N Foster, D Wright 5lb. Under-11s Tiddlers Trophy: 1 Miss C Sugden 10lb 15oz, 2 N Michaels 10-4. Result of the officials match at Rathskelf: 1 H Foster 20lb 1oz, 2 M Okun 16lb, 3 S Foster 15lb 10oz. There are still vacancies for this Sunday at Rathskelf for the veterans. Please meet on the bank side at 9am. The next members’ match at Cowthorpe is on Sunday, July 12. There are still tickets available.

HEWENDEN AC: We have 20 adult memberships available. Anyone wishing to join should send a cheque for £30, a stamped addressed envelope and a passport-style photo to: Mr S Webster, PO Box 62, Bingley, BD16 3WR. Cheques should be made payable to Hewenden AC. The first 20 will be issued with a book, then names will be added to the waiting list for next year’s membership.

CENTRAL AC: Our next match is at Forest Lane on Sunday. Meet 8am at the venue, with fishing from 9am-3pm. Keep nets and landing nets are provided.

GREAT HORTON AA: Result of match at Woodlands: 1 P Weston, 2 T Cahill, 3 P Tiffany, 4 R Hollis. Our next match is at Oaks, Maple Lake.

UNITY AC: Dye House Dam is closed this Sunday due to a British Waterways match.
