Captain Paul Deacon and Aussie centre Chris Nero are both set to return from injury for Saturday’s trip to the Scottish capital.
Scrum half Deacon is back after missing the last four games due to knee surgery, while Nero has recovered from the dislocated shoulder suffered against Leeds Rhinos on Good Friday.
The duo successfully came through training this morning and were duly named in the 19-man squad to face Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at Super League’s Magic Weekend in Edinburgh.
They replace David Solomona (shoulder) and Elliot Whitehead in the only changes to the group that won at St Helens last Friday.
Boss Steve McNamara said: “We have Paul Deacon and Chris Nero back training with us and we’ll see how they pull up.
“We have another training session tomorrow and we’ll take it from there.
“We are certainly not going to pick anyone who is not fit but it’s nice to have some options in selection.
“Of course, that’s offset with the news regarding David Solomona. He is seeing the specialist this afternoon but he won’t be playing this weekend.”
Bulls: Nero, Langley, Sykes, Jeffries, Platt, Halley, Deacon, Menzies, Newton, Rinaldi, Cook, Sheriffe, Tadulala, Burgess, Lynch, Scruton, Worrincy, Kopczak, Olbison.
