The race for the two promotion places into the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division intensified as the four contenders – Albion Sports, Salts, Steeton and Tyersal – all emerged victorious.

Leaders Albion Sports thrashed hosts Littletown 9-1, with Karl Hall notching a hat-trick, Jordan Missin and Luis de-Melo both scoring twice to add to others from Paul Helliwell and Mark Flannigan. Ben Davis scored a early goal for Littletown.

Salts stay just one point behind with Kristen Hargreaves, Chris Rossindale, Tom Wilson and a Peter Dawson own goal contributing to their 4-0 success at Crag Road United.

Steeton, who beat Wakefield City 2-0 a week ago, completed the double and stay in third thanks to first-half strikes from Chris Smith with two and Mark Wilson giving them a 3-1 win.

And Tyersal, who have games in hand, stayed on course for a swift return to the top flight after goals from Ben Kendall, Glynn Beal and John Selby gave them a 3-2 win at Eastmoor.

South Bradford remain bottom after losing 5-1 at Heckmondwike. Chris McMahon replied after Paul Walker (2), Elliot Williams, Jamie Pollard and Michael Pattinson put Town in control.

After fighting their way of the bottom with three wins and three draws, Keighley Shamrocks were edged out 5-4 at Ventus Yeadon Celtic. Dudley Hill Rangers were another unlucky side, fighting back from three down to level before eventually losing 4-3 to Hunsworth.

Campion lost second spot in the Premier Division with a 3-3 draw at home to Hall Green United. James Nestor (2) and a John Moore own goal scored for Campion, Danny Empsall, Danny Mills and an own goal from Sean Durkin replying.

Wibsey were held 2-2 at home by Ardsley Celtic. Declan Corby netted for the hosts but Asa Hatfield and Dale Hanson forced the stalemate.

Leaders Bay Athletic kept one hand on the title with a 3-0 win at Halifax Irish, while Ovenden West Riding stretched their unbeaten run by beating Kirkburton 3-1.

West Horton missed the chance to go level on points with Division Two leaders Bronte Wanderers, when they were shot down 7-2 by Tyersal Reserves. Lee Smith led the way with four goals, Jamie McEwen (2) and Arran Brennan also on target.

William Johnson gave Rawdon Old Boys a 1-0 victory at Dudley Hill Athletic. Campion’s reserves beat struggling Morley Town 3-0 thanks to Gift Chimera, Chimango Manondo and Kingsley Rowe.
