Bradford’s Steven Singh Takhar was unbeaten in all his six fights at under-90kg as Manchester University won the Open University Judo Championships.
The 21-year-old marketing management student, who is on a gap year working for Akla Foods in Leeds, was particularly impressive in his defeat of an opponent from a visiting university from Germany.
