SALTAIRE AA: A member lost some tackle and a bag in Saltaire on February 15. If he had returned the centre page of his yearbook, this would have been returned within two days. Would the owner please contact the general secretary. Members are reminded to return the centre page of their yearbook to the general secretary. Result of last week’s river match: 1 B Murgatroyd 3lb 12oz; 2 J Vickerman 3lb 4oz. The final river match of the season is on the last day of the season – Saturday, March 14. HEWENDEN AC: The draw for Sunday’s match is 9am. When members are renewing their yearbooks, please just send the front page with the receipt on to: Mr S Webster PO Box 62, Bingley, BD16 3WR. Result of Sunday’s pike match: 1 A Head 15lb 13oz (off peg five, roach); 2 A Hudson 2lb (peg eight, lamprey). The club would like to thank Wet Nets and Bobco for their sponsorship of pike matches. The annual meeting will be on Tuesday, March 31 at the Star in Bingley at 8pm, with supper included. Please note that Eccleshill Angling Supplies and Wet Nets will take yearbooks for renewal. KEIGHLEY AC: Keighley hold an open match this Saturday on the river at Steeton. The draw is at 9.30am on the bridge. Call Steve Parker on 01535-648793 to book on. The river is fishing well for grayling and big chub. The best baits are float-fished maggot and caster and ledgered bread. The best pegs are numbers three, seven and ten above the bridge and on the straight below Kildwick bridge.
BRADFORD No 1 AA: There are still tickets left for the open match at Cowthorpe on Sunday. Tickets are available from S Foster (01274-571175) and Wibsey Angling Centre. There have been good reports from Shelf Dam and Raskelf Lake.
LISTERHILLS AA: Volunteers are required for the working party at Pilley’s Dam on Sunday, March 15. A number of pike have been caught on artificial lures. The winner of the last match was E Harrison.
