The Dales Council League’s Umpires’ Association are starting their revision course on the laws of cricket next month.

Sessions will be held at Pudsey St Lawrence Cricket Club on Thursdays (February 12, 19, 26; March 5, 12, 19) from 7.15-9.15pm.

Tuition will be from former Association of Cricket Umpires’ and Scorers (ACU&S) tutors.

The course is chiefly aimed at former players who want to get their first taste of umpiring and to refresh the minds of those who are already umpiring.

Members of other leagues are welcome to attend and the cost will be about £9. Further information is available from Colin White on 01274-670321.
