Wibsey’s Twickenham dream turned into a nightmare at Yorkshire Division Three side Wath On Dearne when they were thrashed 61-0 in the third round of the EDF Energy Junior Vase.
The power and speed of the south Yorkshire-men proved too much. Wibsey tackled as if their lives depended on it while their backs were living on scraps.
Wath ran in most of their tries during a 20-minute purple patch in the second half.
