City have been handed a home start to the League Two campaign for the second year running.
They will kick off the new season on August 9 against Notts County at Valley Parade, no doubt hoping to repeat January's 3-0 success over the Magpies when Peter Thorne bagged a hat-trick.
City face last year's opening-day opponents Macclesfield in their first away game the following week, before a tricky home clash against beaten play-off finalists Rochdale.
The month ends with a long trek to face Blue Square Premier champions Aldershot - City's first visit to the Recreation Ground since 1982.
Lincoln will once again provide the opposition on Boxing Day but this time the game is at Sincil Bank.
Morecambe visit Valley Parade two days later for the holiday home game but there is no New Year's Day fixture this time because January 1 falls on a Thursday and the Football League feel that would be too close to the FA Cup third-round ties taking place the following weekend.
With more southern-based sides this time, City will face more miles on the motorway - and most of the longer journeys take place after the turn of the year, with trips to Bournemouth, Luton, Gillingham, Barnet and Exeter in the space of nine weeks.
City's final home game will be against Yorkshire rivals Rotherham, before the curtain comes down with a trip to Chesterfield on May 2.
All fixtures are subject to change.

Bantam Forever, the point I was trying to make is, the reason for the delay. That is he and his family need to decide if relocation is best for them as there are clubs in the midlands wanting him. If he moves house he joins us. Lat on Blake I heard was he wanted 10k a year so unless he has dropped his demands dramatically cant see that happening.
